Re: Looking For BD Shops
Thu, April 2, 2009 - 1:33 PMAny specific aspect of bellydance?
Jewels Unique in Old Sac sells bellydance gear but is expensive.
Zanzibar Tribal Gallery on L St. is good for Jewelry and I've seen a few hip scarves.
DVDs can be found at any ROSS bargain bin, I've found some good ones there. -

Re: Looking For BD Shops
Sat, May 30, 2009 - 8:23 PMThere's also Planet Earth Rising in Old Folsom and Empress in Placerville (Great items) I found my dance sword for a great price at Planet Earth, they also have a great accessory and BD clothing section. Empress is almost entirely a bellydance store but the sizes are a bit limited (smaller sizes mostly)
There's also a great Middle Eastern store in Riverbank called Sakhi - tons of jewelry, costuming and accessories (If you're ever in the Stockton/Manteca area that is) There's also a small Middle Eastern store on Main street in Manteca that carries veils for $8.00
Hope this helps,
Tracy
