Looking for an expert opinion...

Hi everyone,
my birthday is coming up mid-January and my sister and I are wanting to take a little road trip around Nor-Cal and find some fantastic and/or terrific :) bellydance stores. I know about Empress in Placerville and while it is a wonderful store, the only thing i can purchase there is a hip scarf since nothing else fits me (or my sister). As I have a multitude of hip scarves I would like to find some stores that carry bellydance supplies that are above a size small. I have really gotten into sword dancing lately and would LOVE to find a store with dancing swords since I am a bit reluctant to purchase that kind of an item online. My sister and I are more tribal than cabaret but love a little of everything.
So I am looking to all of you to throw me out some names or towns that have supplies at the ready. PLEASE!!!! Also, if anyone can tell me if they have ordered from Audrena (online store) or visited Cost Less Beads in Berkeley and if they are reputable places to go through I would truly appreciate it.
I live just outside of Stockton and don't mind driving, we're planning on making it a day trip or maybe stay overnight in an inexpensive hotel if need be so throw out as many suggestions as come to mind...
Thank you ladies soooooo much in advance I know it is going to be a truly magical birthday trip!
Happy dancing, Tracy
P.S. Feel free to include mystical/wiccan/pagan shops as well, we love those too!!!!!!

    If you're going to Sacramento.

Tasha's Ucommon Shop on 22nd & J and Zanzibar Tribal Gallery on L street both carry alot of ethnic jewelry and textiles.

Garden of Enchantment and Ology a regood pagan shops in Old Sac.

Planet Earth Rising on Sutter Street in Folsom is a new age store that sells bellydance stuff and might have swords.

Also check out this place for classes http:www.hotpotstudios.com

Cost Less Beads in Berkeley is a good place to go if you're a do-it-yourself costumer. Lots of paillettes, bulk chains, coins, beads etc. They *used* to carry beautiful handmade coin bra & belt sets but no more. It's more oriented toward beaders now than dancers.

      Thank you ladies,
I was able to find my first sword as well as a beautiful skirt for dancing. I ended up in Folsom at Planet Earth Rising and also found some beautiful accessories around the Folsom shops. I'm currently making a new hip scarf to perform in for the first time, so wish me luck!
      Thanks again ladies,
      Tracy
